Training in the Metaverse
The Metaverse is here, and it's going to have an impact on lives and shape our future. It's currently at its infancy stage with a lot of uncertainties, but we are certain that we need to be prepared.
In Q3 of 2026, QI decided to experiment with training in the metaverse, and create an environment that is as close as possible to reality to tackle the challenges the pandemic has brought to the training world.
The experiment consists of a hybrid environment where participants can still participate using the traditional online methods, but those as well will be enhanced to provide a much better experience without the need to wear any devices or sit in the same spot the whole time.
The program is under development and the pilot is scheduled to launch by the end of Q1 2027.
